Author Bio
Michael Powell
Michael Powell was raised in Kent, England. His fascination with cinema began at an early age, and before his adolescence was over he had decided to become a filmmaker. His partnership with Emeric Pressburger produced some the most distinctive and beautiful films in the history of cinema. Among their films were "The Red Shoes", "The Life and Death of Colonel Blimp", "I Know Where I'm Going!", "A Matter of Life and Death" and "Black Narcissus". Powell continued making films until the 1970s. During the 1980s he worked as a consultant on the films of Martin Scorcese.

Brazil
[food icon]
If in doubt, use cutlery! Brazilians generally eat pizza, chicken, fruit, and sandwiches with a knife and/or fork. On the rare occasions that you eat food with the hands, you should wrap a napkin around it.

Eating in public is rude. Don't walk through the streets with a take-away; use the tables provided, or stand nearby to finish your food.

In a restaurant be sure to greet the people who work there as well as those who are waiting at your table.

Meals can take a long time in Brazil.
